Meet the Team

I’m Sandra Seda, and I have dedicated the past 23 years of my life to the field of dentistry. After obtaining a degree in business administration, I pivoted and ventured into dentistry. Dentistry is not just a career for me; it is a true passion. I enjoy working with the best doctors and team, knowing together, we will help our guests achieve a healthy and beautiful smile of which they can be proud. In the dental world, I wear many hats. Sometimes you will find me in the treatment rooms working closely with the doctor and guest, where I apply my hands-on skills. Most other times, I am orchestrating the smooth operation of our dental office.

When I am not busy in the dental world, you will often find me hitting the pavement, pursuing my love for running. Currently, I am on a mission to conquer the 6 world marathon majors. Beyond work and running, my heart belongs to my family. I cherish every moment I get to spend traveling with them, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories.

I’m Hope, and I have been a dental hygienist for 23 years. For the past 16 years, I have been the lead hygienist at Bedford Dental Care. I fell in love with this field about 37 years ago when I worked as a dental assistant. I always knew I wanted to be on the other side of the chair, educating patients. My dream came true, and ever since, I have had the opportunity to not only clean teeth but also, and most importantly to me, educate and save lives.

During my time at Bedford Dental Care, I have been certified in all the latest techniques and technologies, including laser, local anesthesia, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), to name a few. I aim to maximize the health of my patients by staying current with the latest information available through continuing education courses. Our office is as tight-knit with each other as we are with our patients, but the word patient does not fully convey how we feel. Our “patients” are really our dental family and we strive to make them feel as such. Outside of dentistry, my husband and I love enjoying time outdoors “glamping,” traveling around in our RV, spending time with our adult children, keeping up with the DC and Marvel universes, and most of all, football!

Hi! My name is Madiha, and I’m so happy to be a dental assistant at Bedford Dental Care.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others feel their best by improving their quality of life. Throughout high school and college, I tried many different things to help me find this fulfilling career. A few friends recommended dentistry as it connected both science and creativity, which are both things I’m very passionate about. A few months after graduating, I joined Bedford Dental Care, and I loved every minute of it! I have had the chance to learn so many new things with amazing doctors and team members who are more than willing to help and teach. Everyone is so passionate about dentistry and truly cares about each patient’s experience, which makes this the perfect place for me to break into the dental field!

When I’m not in the office, I love hanging out with my sisters and traveling. I also love drawing and creative writing, which I minored in at Stony Brook. I can’t wait to continue to learn more and grow in the dental field! I’m excited to meet patients and provide them with the best care I can!

Hi I’m Jasper and I’m a rescue pup! My mom was a Husky, my dad was a Pomeranian, some people call me a Pomsky. This October will be my first birthday. I’ve been training really hard so that soon I can officially be your certified therapy dog at Bedford Dental Care. I’ve helped a few of our guests so far and did really well. They did really well too and loved having me with them during their visit. I’m still pretty young and can get a little too excited, so you’ll have to be patient with me as I continue to train. I’m so appreciative for this job opportunity and look forward to working with anyone who needs a little extra comfort at the dentist.

Outside of dentistry I enjoy getting the zoomies (running) and wrestling with my three brothers. I love stealing socks, chewing on shoes, and getting distracted by bugs – especially if they buzz around. But my favorite thing is to be outside with my family enjoying the great outdoors.

“I’m Dr. Maria Witkowich, and as a dentist, my goal has always been to alleviate the fear and anxiety commonly associated with dentistry and provide my patients with a comfortable, friendly, and therapeutic experience. The way that I have accomplished this, during my over 30 years in dentistry, has been by treating every patient as if they were my own family. By practicing this way, any decision or recommendation has always come from my heart and has been in the best interest of my patients. It has been so special watching my son, Dr. Diego Herrera, follow in my footsteps and pursue dentistry and practice ownership alongside his wife, Dr. Sara Katz. Together, they have created an environment of professionalism, happiness, and relaxation. Watching them grow as dentists and now being a member of the Bedford Dental Care Team makes me so proud. It has been so rewarding for me to witness their successes and now be a part of their journey. “We are a small family—oriented office that cares for our patients with our undivided attention—as it should be.”

At an early age, Dr. Witkowich was fascinated with the human body and had a strong desire to help people. Her cousin, a dentist, told her that the mouth is where healthcare begins and is the window to the body. That realization set her on a path to pursue dentistry. Dr. Witkowich graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1994, subsequently opening her own successful dental practice in Astoria, Queens. Now, working alongside her son, Diego, she has the opportunity to once again help people in the way she knows they deserve to be treated.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Witkowich enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog Copper, recording memories through photography, and being an “amateur chef.” Dr. Witkowich is also passionate about holistic healthcare and seeking alternatives to Western medicine.

I’m Loreta Rraci, and my passion for dentistry has significantly increased through my experience as a dental assistant. Working closely with our team and patients here at Bedford Dental Care has not only deepened my understanding of oral health but also provided me with invaluable hands-on experience that fuels my aspiration to become a dentist. Recently, I took a step in my pursuit of dentistry by applying to dental school.

Beyond dentistry, I have recently experienced one of life’s most incredible joys—becoming a parent to a baby girl. Balancing my dental aspirations with the responsibilities of parenthood has been a remarkable journey, reinforcing my determination to provide a brighter and healthier future, not only for my child but for all those whom I hope to help as a future dentist.
